Pam Barton
President & Founder
Pam Barton is a Sr. Business Analyst in Insurance Software Technology with over three decades of invaluable experience in the insurance industry. Pam's expertise as a Sr. Business Analyst is unrivaled, characterized by meticulous attention to detail, strategic problem-solving and implementing solutions that drive organizational success. Pam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University and was recognized for her academic excellence by being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. Beyond her career and educational achievements, Pam's commitment to service was inspired by her transformative years as a teen mom. Those years catalyzed responsibility, drive and the importance of community. Fueled by this passion, Pam has been an active volunteer with various organizations but felt compelled to personally help bridge the gap for adolescent girls on pivotal issues impacting their development. To personally champion this endeavor, Pam founded SIS - Spirited In Success. Her unwavering dedication to professional excellence, coupled with her commitment to empowering others, makes her a multifaceted standout figure in her community. Pam is also the small business owner of Shea Is Life, an all-natural whipped shea butter company.
Kenda McIntosh
Vice President
Kenda McIntosh, MS, LPC, is an esteemed counselor with an extensive 29-year tenure devoted to serving underserved communities. As an emerging Licensed Professional Counselor, Kenda is deeply committed to guiding individuals on their paths toward healing and personal development. Armed with a master's degree in counseling, she is a fervent advocate for holistic well-being and staunchly believes in the efficacy of Person-Centered therapy in fostering positive transformation. In her counseling practice, Kenda embraces a holistic approach, addressing the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of each client's journey. She cultivates a nurturing and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their innermost thoughts and feelings. Drawing from her extensive training in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based techniques, she tailors her approach to meet each client's unique needs. Kenda's passion for helping others transcends her professional endeavors, as she continues to positively impact the lives of those she serves. She views each client as an individual deserving of acceptance and respect, regardless of their circumstances or challenges.
Dominique Kemp
Executive Director & Treasurer
Dominique Kemp is a seasoned professional with 12 years of invaluable corporate experience across diverse roles spanning from Client Service, Implementation Specialist and Risk Specialist. During her tenure as a Collateralized Debt Obligation Portfolio Specialist and Business Operations Analyst, Dominique's dedication was recognized with the prestigious Bronze Shield award, highlighting her commitment to excellence and innovation in the field. Dominique is an academic achiever holding a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Southern Illinois University, graduating with honors and achieving Magna Cum Laude distinction. Dominique also earned a Master's Degree in Business Management from Keller Graduate School. Her academic achievements were recognized with the prestigious award for the Dennis Keller Scholarship for her outstanding performance. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dominique possesses a pure heart and a deep compassion for others which she channels through her involvement in various community service initiatives. She actively participates in philanthropic endeavors, contributing to the Angel Tree Prison Fellowship and an active member of the Young Adult Ministry at her church.
Tycee Bell
Community Director
Tycee Bell is a dedicated community strategist and organizer with over 25 years of nonprofit experience advocating for the growth and development of communities and families. She is the Visionary Director of Community Cultivation Project, NFP est. in 2019. Tycee incorporated CCP to build community relationships through large-scale events, workshops, and trainings. Tycee is an active member of E.A.T. Equity and Transformation. As an organizer and community navigator, in both Cook/Will Counties she is dedicated to issue advocacy, equity, and embracing Black Culture. Tycee was a Mayoral candidate in Joliet Illinois 2023 Mayoral election. She's received the 2021 P.E.P.S Award for Community Service, the P.E.P.S award 2022 Pioneer Award, and Project Acclaim's 2022 1st Quarter recipient of the Reverend James E. Allen Award for Service to the Community. Tycee's work in personal and professional development is galvanizing leaders across the state to take bold action for change in the community and in the boardroom.
